This 2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance Auto brings all the eighth-gen GTI goodness: more power, sharper chassis tuning, and that unmistakable hot-hatch attitude. It’s powered by a 2.0L TSI turbocharged four-cylinder pushing 241 hp and 273 lb-ft, paired with an automatic transmission featuring driver-selectable modes. VW’s electronically controlled limited-slip differential, adaptive sport suspension, and multi-link rear setup work together to make it feel playful but planted.
