1964 Ford Galaxie Country Sedan Station Wagon presented in factory raven black with original red bench seat interior. NASTYWGN is believed to have been painted once only, back in the 90s, in it's original colour. The exterior shine is exellent for it's age with some patina on the roof only, plus the odd paint chip from years of driving enjoyment. This is a rust free 54-year-old survivor from Virginia. The mileage on the odometer is 86,355 and based on this vehicle's overall condition it is most likely accurate. Being a special order from the factory, NASTYWGN was originally equipped with a 390 cu. in. police interceptor V8 engine matched to a three speed manual column shift transmission with overdrive.

According to the original owner this car was purchased with the sole purpose of towing his house trailer on family vacations. The interior is mostly original with only some minor paint touch up, new seat covering and new carpeting. The head liner and sun visors are in very good original condition. All door trim panels are mostly original and in good condition. The stainless-steel trim all looks very good as does the chrome. The front bumper was replaced due to some minor damage and at the same time the rear bumper was also replaced to maintain the same new chrome appearance. Tail lights, grill and headlights are in good condition with the headlights being upgraded to new LED for better night vision. All glass is factory original except for a new tinted windshield. Both rubber and felt weather-stripping are in fairly good overall condition. Factory options include power steering, power brakes, dual mirrors, a factory AM radio and a factory clock and to improve overall interior comfort a Brand New A/C Unit from Old Air Products was installed.

Eagle Stroker Kit, Pro Maxx Aluminium Cylinder Heads, Ford Cobra Le Mans Aluminium Valve Covers, Lunati Hydraulic Roller Cam Shaft, Crower Valve Lifters, Crower Push Rods, Ford FE 9170 Tappet Springs Assembly, Eagle SIR I-Beam Connecting Rods, Mahle Power Pak Pistons, Ford 428 Cobra Jet Fuel Pump, Moroso Oil Pan & Pickup, Melling M-57 Oil Pump, MSD Ignition, MSD Performance Street Coil, Ford Duraspark Performance Distributer, Demon 850 Carb with a Performer RPM Aluminium Intake, Ford Ceramic Headers with 3 Flowmaster Stainless Steel Dual Exhaust System, HD Chrome Alternator, HD Ford Starter Motor, Mega-Tron Plus Battery MTP-78DT, Three Core Radiator Re-Core with 160F Thermostat, PRX Performance Aluminium Water Pump, Auto Meter Sport Comp Gauges and Tach.

Transmission performance upgrades include: totally rebuilt Ford Galaxie 4 Speed Top Loader Transmission with a new Hurst Competition Plus Shifter with Shifter Installation Kit, Ford OEM 390 GT HD Clutch.

Rear End performance upgrades include: a Ford 9", Strange Positraction, 3.90:1 Gear Ratio and Cal Trac Traction Bars.

Suspension performance upgrades include: Ford OEM Power Front Disc Brakes with Drums Rear plus Strange Dual Master Cylinder, QA1 HD Performance Adjustable Shocks Front and Rear, 15x 6 Torq Thrust wheels up front with new P215/70R BF Goodrich T/As and 15x 8 Torq Thrust wheels with new P255/60R B/F Goodrich T/As on the rear.
